Have you heard about the new SVS Lashes?

Not sure what all the fuss is about?

Go grab a cuppa and get cosy, because I’m going to fill you in.

This new salon-only treatment from Nouveau has just been launched in the UK and Ireland, and lucky for me, I was one of the first ten professionals to be trained in SVS application.

These new revolutionary lashes are super lightweight, fine, and fluffy, and can be used to create a natural or dramatic look, with a brand new method of application.

I don’t want to bore you all with lots of detail, but I need to explain why they last so long, and why they are better for the health of your natural eyelashes compared to normal extensions.

When our lashes first start to grow, it’s called the Anagen stage. This is when our lashes are actively growing and are at their strongest. Each lash will grow to a specific length and then stop. During the Catagen stage, the lash stops growing and the hair follicle shrinks. At the Telogen stage, the lash will naturally fall out and a new one will begin to grow.

Because our lashes are strongest during the Anagen stage, it’s the perfect time to isolate those lashes and apply the SVS 2D, 3D, or even 4D lash extensions.

Each artificial lash comes in a variety of thickness, length, and curl, and the ones used are selected to carefully suit your own lash and eye shape.

Now, this is the tricky part! After we find and isolate your Anagen lash, we make our own 2D, 3D, or 4D “fans” using individual lashes. This is seriously a skill that takes time to perfect! But it’s worth it for the end result!

Your mapping process will depend on how dramatic or natural you want your lashes to be, and the style that suits you best, The mapping process is when your lash line is sectioned into five different lengths, with the “cat eye” being the most popular style.

This treatment can take up to 2 hours, which is perfect for a power nap! We apply anti-wrinkle pads to your under-eye, and wrap you up in a lovely fluffy blanket as the treatment is being carried out.

SVS Lashes last around 4-6 weeks, and have little to no damage to your natural lashes. You can let your SVS Lashes shed naturally along with your own lashes when they reach the end of their growth cycle, or you can have them soaked off in the salon. Alternatively, you can purchase a lash remover from the salon that you can apply at home.

The SVS Lash Treatment costs £55. No mascara is needed, and they are super easy to manage for people on the go.
